GOS	Galactooligosaccharide is a Prebiotic, a member of the family of Oligosaccharides, sugars linked together with undigestible bonds. The human body has no enzymes which can break the bonds and therefore cannot digest GOS. GOS passes untouched into the large intestines where they can be a food source for the beneficial bacteria who have the enzymes to break down the GOS bonds. Also called Prebiotics.
