| Beta Blockers | "Block" the effects of adrenaline on your body's beta receptors. This slows the nerve impulses that travel through the heart. As a result, your heart does not have to work as hard because it needs less blood and oxygen. The results are lowered heart rate and blood pressure. i.e. Betapace® (sotalol), Blocadren® (timolol), Brevibloc® (esmolol), Cartrol® (carteolol), Coreg® (carvedilol), Corgard® (nadolol), Inderal® (propranolol), Inderal-LA® (propranolol), Kerlone® (betaxolol), Levatol® (penbutolol), Lopressor® (metoprolol), Normodyne® (labetalol), Sectral® (acebutolol), Tenormin® (atenolol), Toprol-XL® (metoprolol), Trandate® (labetalol), Visken® (pindolol), Zebeta® (bisoprolol).

| Bio Identical | Hormones have the same chemical structure as hormones that are made by the human body. The term "bio-identical" does not indicate the source of the hormone, but rather indicates that the chemical structure of the replacement hormone is identical to that of the hormone naturally found in the human body. In order for a replacement hormone to fully replicate the function of hormones which were originally naturally produced and present in the human body, the chemical structure must exactly match the original. Bio-identical hormones are able to follow normal metabolic pathways so that essential active metabolites are formed in response to hormone replacement therapy. |

| Bonito Peptides | This natural supplement is composed of a purified mixture of 9 small peptides (proteins) derived from muscle of the fish bonito (a member of the tuna family) and is also free from heavy metals (e.g. lead, mercury, etc.), pesticides, and other contaminants. |

| Boswellia | This naturally occurring substance comes from the Boswellia serrata tree that grows in the dry hills of India. Preparations made from a purified extract of this resin are used to reduce inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Unlike conventional NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen, Boswellia has no known side effects and doesn't seem to cause stomach irritation. It also may be effective for back pain and certain chronic intestinal disorders. |
